Now in the movies - the new Service Request Catalog for HP Service Manager 9.21!

It has been a while since my last blog post, the webcast "Three simple steps to self-service" and the release of HP Service Manager 9.21. Some people already have been asking about "what's new" with regards to the new service request catalog. Well, there are a few things I want to share today.


First and foremost, there are a couple of new videos available. They show you the new service request catalog in action and give you an idea about its look and feel, its values and benefits for catalog users:


  • A 2-minute video,highlighting key elements of the new service request catalog user interface. This video is also available on YouTube.
  • A 9-minute demo, of the service request catalog in action. This video walks you through a use scenario. It shows the dashboard, how to search for services, how to request a service, how to check its status and more. This video is available on YouTube as well.
  • A HP Service Manager 9.21 demo. The Service Request Catalog is only one part of HP's Service Desk Solution. Take this demo tour to see unique features that allow you to manage all facets of your ITSM environment.

Then, there is also a white paper available, called "Three simple steps to effective service catalog and request management". You can download the white paper here.
