Considering upgrading to Service Manager 9.30???

I personally missed the live webinar yesterday, but just watched the recording. It could have been my network connection, but there were a few replay glitches in the first couple of minutes. The discussion really hits its stride a few minutes into the webinar.

We spent a lot of time working on an improved set of upgrade tools with the latest release of Service Manager 9.30, and the use of latest versions of these tools is discussed in the course of the webinar along with the overall process and project. There were about 30 minutes of questions and answers covering a variety of topics. The differences between SM versions 7x and version 9x (including new capabilities) were a common theme. Integrations, performance, project management, ... are all discussed.

Brought to you by the Vivit Special Interest Group on HP Service Management.

CPS Energy in San Antonio, TX, is the largest municipally owned energy company in the nation, providing both gas and electricity. Because of their status as a community-owned, not-for-profit energy utility and their diversified mix of fuels, they are able to provide their customers with reliable and more affordable energy services than many companies.

In terms of its HP investment, CPS Energy currently utilizes HP Services Manager, UCMDB, and Operations Manager. Their recent upgrade to Service Manager 9.3 was put into motion to take advantage of the new mobile client functionality in 9.3. This was a key factor in their decision to become an HP Beta customer for this new version and has proven to be an incredibly valuable feature.

AMP's Senior Service Manager Consultant, Doran Butler, led and executed this implementation of 9.3 for CPS Energy and will be presenting a detailed overview of the Service Manager 9.3 upgrade project at CPS Energy: its scope, success, and lessons learned. The presentation will be interactive and an informal dialogue is both welcomed and encouraged!

Please join us for a sneak peek into Service Manager 9.3 and how CPS Energy is taking advantage of its new features to increase efficiency, productivity, and customer service.

I would like to view the webinar and it would seem by your comment that it is free to join Vivit, that I should be able to veiw it.  I am regisstered with HP and Vivit and cannot access the webinar.  My company is doing the 9.3 upgrade soon and as the PM, I am attempting to gather some information that might help.

You have to login to the vivit website. The original link above should have dropped you onto the Vivit archived webinars page. From there, you should see the SM 9.30 migration case study.

I just tried this again and it is working for me.
