Coming soon - HP Service Manager 9.21 and the NEW Service Request Catalog

I was positively surprised by the reactions on my last blog "IT Service Management @ HP Software Universe ..." and a lot of people were wondering what presentations like "Introducing the new Self-Service Portal for HP Service Manager" will be all about, and what's the news? Well, I guess I have to let the cat out of the bag now ...

HP’s new Service Request Catalog (SRC) is part of the upcoming HP Service Manager 9.21 release, which is currently on track for availability in December. The service request catalog provides a state-of-the-art, Web 2.0-based service portal, and it's innovative user interface to the service request process was developed from the ground up with the end users in mind.

It simplifies the requests of standardized IT goods and services available to the business and its employees, and it provides transparency into service cost, delivery and status. While many catalogs on the market have been built by  IT for IT, this is the service catalog for everyone.

The new Service Request Catalog is simple, efficient and flexible: It deploys out of the box as part of HP Service Manager 9.21 and plugs into Service Manager service catalog data. New features include an all new Web UI for easy navigation, a dashboard for user-specific information and many more.

Want to see more? If you are going to the HP Software Universe next week in Barcelona, you can see the new service request catalog at the ITSM booth and attend related presentations and a hands-on workshop.

Also mark your calendars for the webinar "Three simple steps to self-service" on Dec 9. You can register here.

Finally, stay tuned for more information like a recorded demo and more.

After creating a user, the downloading center shows trial softwares available for business service management. Is it the same as that of IT service Management software?

Also, it gives below mentioned options to choose from.
