The Intel Chipset Software should take care of the integrated lan as well.

You can get the model number along with other product information, if you press 'Ctrl', 'Alt' and 'S' keys together. You could also get this information from the sticker pasted on the tower.

Hey Guys, Thank very much for your support, i was waiting for LAN drivers and i got it, and now one more problem when i am trying to boot with winxp pro bootable cd, this vista system is skipping this cd and not booting system with winxp cd may be its because of vista, any idea guys? or any other way to boot with winxp cd and format my system?

Check your boot order in the bios.

CD before hard drive.


Else select the boot menu upon startup.

I do need the drivers for windows XP for Pavilion a6020.
Please, if anyone haves it, share. I'm needing to install XP, but the only way is via SATA and it will need the SATA driver.

I am trying to install xp now its booting from disk but giving blue screen error and not starting xp setup, any idea? and solution please.

What is the error code?


Blue screen is generic without the error code.

Sometimies it helps sometimes it does not.

A lot of XP loads can be caused by bab memory chips or even mismatched memory.

If you have more than one SIMM module try removing all but one. XP will load with 128mb RAM. If it runs past the blue screen you have solved the problem.


Also other hardware conflicts can cause a blue screen too but lets take this one step at a time.

When i am installing XP boot from CD system check files then i got get message windows is preparing to install and suddenly i get blue screen i have tried this 2 3 time then i post here, i have 4 slots of ram and all fill with 4GB ram (1GB each) i never found this type of error before i dont understand why is this for even its a branded machine really disappointing, i hope this will help you to find out anything.

Did you remove all your memory except one ?


Then try and reload XP again?

I was able to install XP Pro in the system i created partitions and installed XP but when it comes to drivers, no drivers supported with the system you provided except the ATI video driver, rest nothing worked out any idea, please advice.

Yet this states you are using VISTA.

The other problem is you asked for a6000 driver and now you say your PC is a

On the top in my question its clearly written Model a6041.me, and this model comes with vista, and i dont want vista anymore thats why looking for drivers which support windows xp pro in this system, for visa ofcourse i do have all the drivers, but my problem is to run and use windows xp in this model that is why i open this thread, i hope you understand now.

There have been a few cases were teh LAN and the sudio need to come from a 3rd party but they are rare. These should work for the devices you have.

FOr the rare audio and LAN this one has worked but the UAA above must be loaded first.

I want you to see attachment to get exact idea what drivers will work because i formated my system installed xp drivers dint work then again in installed vista and i dont want to do the same, this was the only reason, now i ll try with these drivers you provide so lets see, if this all works fine or not, i will tell you.
