Re: Pavilion PC a6000 XP Drivers

The Intel Chipset Software should take care of the integrated lan as well.

Re: Pavilion PC a6000 XP Drivers

is the computer model number a6000n ?

the link Rich has provided takes you to
a6041.me ...

You can get the model number along with other product information, if you press 'Ctrl', 'Alt' and 'S' keys together. You could also get this information from the sticker pasted on the tower.

Re: Pavilion PC a6000 XP Drivers

Check your boot order in the bios.

CD before hard drive.

Else select the boot menu upon startup.

Re: Pavilion PC a6000 XP Drivers

What is the error code?

Blue screen is generic without the error code.

Sometimies it helps sometimes it does not.

A lot of XP loads can be caused by bab memory chips or even mismatched memory.

If you have more than one SIMM module try removing all but one. XP will load with 128mb RAM. If it runs past the blue screen you have solved the problem.

Also other hardware conflicts can cause a blue screen too but lets take this one step at a time.

Re: Pavilion PC a6000 XP Drivers

Here is the correct audio driver for your PC but load the UAA driver first.

http://tinyurl.com/2d2cbs << UAA

http://tinyurl.com/yl8m88 << 888 audio

THe Intel 945g should have loaded with no problem.

Your LAN driver is:

http://tinyurl.com/ycy54y

Load these and get back to me...

Re: Pavilion PC a6000 XP Drivers

You said you needed XP drivers.

Yet this states you are using VISTA.

The other problem is you asked for a6000 driver and now you say your PC is a

a6041.me ???

WHAT's UP?

a6041.me homepage:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?product=3420837&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en〈=en&cc=us

this pc has an Intel 945G chipset:

http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-020683.htm

The LAN is Intel 82562V PHY

http://tinyurl.com/ycy54y

you can get advanced features and updates at:

http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/cs-006103.htm

audio Realtek ALC888

http://tinyurl.com/2d2cbs << load first UAA

http://tinyurl.com/yl8m88 << 888 audio

Your LAN driver is:

http://tinyurl.com/ycy54y

Even though the model of PC changed...

not much different on the drivers....

what are you seeing?

Re: Pavilion PC a6000 XP Drivers

all of these drivers are for XP for the a6041.me:

a6041.me homepage:

There have been a few cases were teh LAN and the sudio need to come from a 3rd party but they are rare. These should work for the devices you have.

FOr the rare audio and LAN this one has worked but the UAA above must be loaded first.

http://tinyurl.com/2mkgjd

Intel 82662 lan :

So I am still asking why you wanted me to see that attachemnt of yours?
