Re: HP Pavilion m8100n Downgrade Vista to XP Pro SP2

Give dual boot some thought...

Dual boot (vista already loaded):

http://apcmag.com/5485/dualbooting_vista_and_xp

all your XP drivers:

Chipset GeForce 6150SE nForce 430:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_winxp32_8.26_11.09.html

contains:

* Ethernet Driver (v50.23) "WHQL"
* Network Management Tools (v50.23)
* SMBus Driver (v4.52) "WHQL"
* IDE SataRAID Driver (v6.66) "WHQL"
* IDE SataIDE Driver (v6.66) "WHQL"
* RAIDTOOL Application (v6.63)

Your audio is Realtek ALC888:

load UAA first:

then:

LAN Realtek RTL8201N:

or

Re: HP Pavilion m8100n Downgrade Vista to XP Pro SP2

The DVD should work already...

Do you see a Yellow mark in the device manager?

Should work under Plug & Play.....

Wasn't sure if you got the video thing cleared up...

Will take care of it if Cheryls link didn't work (although it should).

Your DVD should work as is.

Re: HP Pavilion m8100n Downgrade Vista to XP Pro SP2

Everything works great! thanks a lot guys.

my question about the dvd-RW was about
software for burning DVD's such as nero?

I did not look at the pre instaled software.

sorry I did not explained my self.
