Re: 9600GT

Hello,

I have bought 9600gt graphic card, I had to change the power supply, so I bought a LC power 450W.

Unfortunately, when I boot my computer (HP2400), nothing appears on the screen, and yet the fan of the graphic card works.

Could you help me?

Thanks

P.S: when I tried to put the graphic card in another PC, it worked.

Re: 9600GT

If your PC is using onboard graphics, sometimes you have to disable it is the (device manager)..then shutdown - unplug the power, install the new card - re-power, then reboot and install it's driver, Manually! It's suppose to disable the onboard graphics automatically, but thats not always the case.

Re: 9600GT

I had a sytem a couple of years ago where I had to connect a monitor to each video output (integrated and discrete card)  to be able to see what I was doing.  Try it - you might be surprised!
