iPaq 6925 - won't read 8GB Storage Card

I purchased an 8GB SD card to replace a 2 GB card. My iPaq 6925 reads the 2GB card fine, but won't read all the files on the 8 GB card, even though I copied the files directly from the 2 GB card. I tried reformatting, but that didn't work. Is there a limit on the size of SD card that the iPaq will read?

4GB is the largest that I've heard of working with the 6900 series. Even then not all 4GB cards will work.

I believe that 2GB is the "official" maximum capacity, but it used to be listed as only 1GB.

Re: iPaq 6925 - won't read 8GB Storage Card

SDHC cards are not compatible with this device (or with any WM5.0 devices). There is an unsupported' unofficial driver you could install that might allow you to use SDHC cards, but even if it works, you'll probabably only be able to use upto 4 GB of the card. You can learn more about this driver here:

Thanks. That driver worked, only up to 4BG as you said, but that's better than 2.
