iPAQ FA103T: Reboot Problem after Updating Software.

I tried to update drivers today - ROM etc - and after disconnecting, my ipaq would not reboot, only indicating a faint unlit HP Logo with v 1.08 underneath it. I did a soft reboot with no result. I then did a hard reboot with no result. I then removed the battery, re-installed it and did a soft reboot - all to no avail, it was still indicating the faint logo and version no. With every trial to reboot the iPAQ was in it's cradle with battery charging. I have tried just about everything, including going back to the updates to do the ROM update again, but again no luck. Can someone please help? Thanks. John.
