There's also a hack that enables WM5.0 devices to work with SDHC cards. This is a unsupported hack and there are some limitations, but you can learn about it here:

I have the iPaq hx2490. Did you know that 'b' and '2495' are all the same handheld, sold in different locations?
SanDisk 4GB and 2GB Class 2 are still available. I'm using the 2GB, however a 4GB will work OK in the 2490. Try eBay, if need be.
As for hacks, I'm very wary of these.
Good luck, mike7936

No, your information is wrong. hx2490 & hx2495 are the same handheld, but sold in different distribution channels. The "b" model replaced the non-b model, and the "b" model has more memory than the non-b model. One needs to be particularly careful that they make this distinction when installing ROM or firmware updates since forcing an update that is designed for a non-b model to a "b" model can mess the device up.
I would never purchase an SD card from eBay because I've read so many threads from users who bought a card there that didn't work. There seem to be quite a few counterfeit cards sold on eBay.
