Any keyboard shortcut to realign the screen?

Hi all,
I'm using an HP Ipaq HW6915. is it possible to realign the screen and skip the setup screen after a hard reset with some keyboard command?
I am visually impaired and need to skip this step in order to install my assistive programs. Any help is apreciated! Many thanks!

Re: Any keyboard shortcut to realign the screen?

Unfortunately skipping this step is not possible in Windows Mobile 5. Windows Mobile 5.2 (aka 6) has that feature now.

Re: Any keyboard shortcut to realign the screen?

I saw a software application some time ago that might help. I'll look around some and see if I can find a link and post back.

Re: Any keyboard shortcut to realign the screen?

Okay, found the link. The software is called Remote Screen Alignment. Quoting from the website:

"The Remote Screen Alignment application was developed to make it easier for users of Mobile Speak Pocket to align the screen of their Pocket PC devices without sighted help. If you have to hard format your Pocket PC device for any reason, you no longer need to align the screen manually. Please refer to the User's Manual before you start using this application."

Here's a link where you can download a copy of this software and the User's Manual:

Re: Any keyboard shortcut to realign the screen?

Hi,
Many thanks for your reply again.
Unfortunatly there is a problem with their screen alignment tool with some none english devices.
I asked in another thread if it was possible to change the language to english on the HW6915 due to the problems with this great tool.
But ok, will have someone sighted helping me aligning the screen and let's hope that there will be an update for the HW6915 to the new WM version.
Thanks a lot,
Christian

Re: Any keyboard shortcut to realign the screen?

Sorry that link won't help you out. Yes, unfortunately, there's no HP approved way to change the language of your pocket pc. Is it possible for you to return it for an English version?

Re: Any keyboard shortcut to realign the screen?

Unfortunatly no. I've had this device for allmost a month now. Also, the license of Mobile Speak Pocket is tied to the device so changing device will require a new license.
Thanks,
Christian
