HP Support Center Mobile gets personal


HP continues to expand the delivery of personalized technical support for HP products via mobile devices.  We are pleased to announce the availability of the latest release of the HP Support Center Mobile App (HPSCm).

Download this free app from the App Store for Apple iPhone®/iPad® devices or Android Play Store for Android devices.

This release of HPSCm expands the personalization and access to post-sales activities.
HPSCm 3.1 brings HP Passport sign-on capability, expands support capabilities with more levels of entitlements coverage and strengthens the foundation for a great customer experience.

 

Features now available with this release:

  • Redesigned UI
  • Improved Personalization: Provide HP Passport Authentication
  • Easier Product Management:
    • Populate Core Products List based on HP Passport ID and linked products, contracts or warranties
    • New Product list
    • Imported or manually added products grouped by Family Type
    • Possibility to search by Product Name, Serial Number, SAR, SAID or Care Pack ID
    • Sorting ability
    • Improved flow for HP Home and Home Offices Products
    • HP Home and Home Office Products are now automatically added and flagged in the products list
  • Activities
    • Short-cut to ‘Most Recent’ used products or devices (Last 20 entries)
    • New ability to manage Products related activities (Chat, Case Create)
  • Product View: Improved Product Identification:
    • Improved logic for product images
    • Improved device centric approach
  • Product View: Expanded Contracts and Warranty information
    • Entitlement check on SAID, SAR, Carepacks for Products linked to HPP
  • Expanded Self Solve Services
    • Search: Top Issues highlighted in the Search results
    • Search: Entitled Contents highlighted in the Search results
    • Navigated Content Categories – Updated to Top Issues, Most Viewed and Manuals when it applies
  • Expanded Assisted Solve Services
    • Implemented Chat Out of Hours Logic
    • New Case Creation flow for products with Active Contracts
    • New Chat flow for products with Active Contracts
    • Search: Added Filtering capabilities (by Content Type)
    • Search: Access to Entitled Contents (Contract apply)

With access to expert knowledge and assisted troubleshooting at their fingertips, customers can keep their technology running smoothly and spend more time focusing on their business.

Customers can get started using HP Support Center Mobile App by taking the following steps:

  • Download the App from their favorite App Store
  • Launch the App by clicking on the icon
  • Enter User Information or Sign up with your HP Passport ID
  • Add or import HPP Linked Products (HP Commercials or Enterprise Devices/Products)
