HP has launched the public beta for HP Agile Manager, a new SaaS offering that can help application development teams organize, plan, and execute Agile projects.

Agile Manager has been designed to provide rich activity management and deep insights about the status of source code, builds, unit tests, coverage and more, all in an instant-on SaaS model.

A critical part of its analytics capabilities is how it aggregates source code and build management information from heterogeneous development environments and surfaces the meaningful data to provide team members and leaders with greater insight.

You can read more about this in its Guide to Build and Source Code Analytics in Agile Manager, a detailed article on the HP Software technical network that includesi screen images and explanations of how development teams can work with its tools.

Interested in getting your hands dirty? HP would love your feedback on the service. Register here to join the beta trial and join the discussion in the IT Experts community forum.

We are currently using JIRA and as i checked the Guide to Build and Source Code Analytics in Agile Manager, i feel this HP Agile Manager can easily equal or win JIRA.

and, please check, it seems the link public beta for HP Agile Manager is broken...not sure if something is wrong with my connection here...

I have few requirements.

  1. I want the step count of a tester in a particular day.
  2. Also I want to pull the report for the entire team member starting for Jan 2012 till now that how many step they have executed  with number of days. Example: 1 script consist 10 step the tester executed the 10 step in 3 days coz they require batch. So the data should be 1 script 10 step passed 3 days.

  1. This should be a seperate one. There are many instance where one script have 2 or instance of different tester or same tester. So wan the count of that steps and number of days. Clubbing the entire above two point.

I am using quality center 10.0.

Thanks,

Moshin
