Take a test drive of exciting new HP Software as a Service solutions

By Jim Gardner, HP SaaS WW Marketing

While perhaps still lacking the adrenaline rush of Formula 1 racing, being among the first to test drive a new HP Software as a Service solution can still be pretty exciting in its own right – and now you have an exclusive opportunity to put yourself in the
driver’s seat!

That’s right, HP Software is looking for drivers like you – growth drivers, innovation drivers and change drivers – to help beta test new HP Software as a Service solutions. These new SaaS-based offerings are designed to help IT professionals like you improve your performance, responsiveness and agility by building on you and your peers’ interest in expanding the use of SaaS as a core component of IT strategy.

The HP SaaS beta program is a controlled end user testing process that allows specially qualified users with an interest in quality assurance, performance validation, business service management, service-oriented architecture, and other related responsibilities to help us test and report on the offering prior to its general release (GA).

There are two solutions requiring qualified beta participants:

First, there is HP Application Performance Management as a Service. Developed as a self-provisioned easy-to-use solution, it keeps your business healthy by proactively monitoring applications and transactions across your infrastructure. This anxiously awaited solution will be tightly integrated offering quick time-to-value and will eliminate the need for a costly on-premise infrastructure. This will offer new features that reduce the time to isolate root causes to difficult application performance problems through a consolidated easy-to-use User Interface (UI).

Also in beta is HP Agile Manager. This is a cutting-edge solution leveraging HP's advanced software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management capabilities. It enables development teams with rich agile project management capabilities. HP Agile Manager is enhanced by Kanban style planning board, issue tracking and detailed visualized reports; it integrates with open source and commercial SCM, Build Management, and continuous integration tools. These provide application teams with risk, change impact metrics and predictability into the status and quality of each release.

There is no cost to you. All we ask is that you to access, use, and report on your experiences using these new solutions. Upon the completion of the beta program you may be asked to become a reference customer for the solution, but willingness to become a reference customer is not a requirement for acceptance into the program.

To be qualified to participate, visit our beta sign-up page today and register by telling us which solution(s) you are interested in testing. We will then notify you as we get closer to the public beta program.
