Are you reading blog posts or just skimming them?
I am wondering if anyone is going to be writing posts at all in 20 years time. I enjoy reading blog articles, but I am now finding myself watching more videos instead. Do people still have time to read long blog posts? Or are we stepping into a new era of videos and tweets, where there is no longer a place for blogs?
HP NMC is the ONLY solution without any “cons” and with raving reviews in the Network World review for networking solutions
Authors: Nagesh Swamy, Aruna Ravichandran, Igor Bergman
“Network World is one of the top influencers in Network Management space. In March 2012, they published the review of top network management solutions (HP, IBM, CA) and without any doubt, HP Automated Network Management (ANM) solution ranked the best in the company of these respectable network management vendors.”
After the complete success of the first Partner University event for the year in Malta, back in February, we are happy to announce a second edition happening in Prague, 11th – 14th June. The training is free of charge.
On April 10, HP made one of its biggest announcements in the cloud space when we announced the launch of HP Converged Cloud. This is more than a pretty simple and straight-forward name and much more than a collection of updated hardware, software and services. It is a very bold move that will address the concerns of customers who were looking at current public cloud solutions (from IaaS to SaaS) with envy and skepticism.
Do you know HP's sales strategy? Do you want to make greater profits, selling HP's products?
We have the right training for you!
Yes, they are.
In today's always on mobile world, the application is where the majority of customers meet up with service providers and their business offers ... airline ticketing, grocery shopping, car hire, banking, airline loyalty programs, travel advisories, ebay, amazon, ... you name it, it is out there.

Testers often have to predict what actions a user would perform when using the application. I call that “the gift of predicting people’s mind!”
When executing manual testing, I am sure QA testers, as brilliant minds, would like to concentrate in the fun part of testing and not be tied to the very tedious and time consuming part of the job. When they have to refer to multiple sources (test script, test data, a defect tracker, application under test, documentation) and keep going back and forth, it reduces their fun a lot!
HP software has a modern solution to make your test even more fun! The solution is called “HP Sprinter” and it dramatically reduces the time and improves the accuracy and effectiveness of manual software testing.
Today I have good news - the HP Sprinter solution that is currently bundled with HP Quality Center Enterprise and HP Application Lifecycle Management, is now also available as a starter version.

The first Partner University for the year has taken place last week in Malta. The event was very successful with a lot of positive feedback from Partners. Here are some of the thoughts delegates are sharing: The friendly and smooth ambiance was encouraging to open discussions with the presenters as well as the attendees to share ideas and experiences; Good opportunity to share experiences; Very informative around latest product reviews, changes and roadmaps.
More than 160 Partners from over 70 companies and more than 30 countries worldwide benefited from the multiple technical and sales tracks, led by most experienced instructors.
WW and EMEA trainers and Presales instructors have delivered 6 technical and 4 sales tracks, covering the following areas – ALM, BSM, ITSM, CCRM. For the first time at a Partner University there were Cloud tracks (both technical and sales), which very well received.
The stormy weather on the Tuesday night (22nd February) did not stop participants from enjoying a nice sea food dinner in a historical location.
We would be happy to hear your thoughts around this event as well as your suggestions for solution areas which interest you for our future events. Contact us on enablement4partners@hp.com
EMEA Partner University has kicked off this morning in Malta, at the beautiful Corinthia hotel. More than 160 delegates are already deep into the 6 technical and 4 sales tracks, enjoying the nice weather on the island.
There is a lot of interest in Business Service Manager – there are three tracks running simultaneously: Advanced, Essentials and Sales. ALM is popular as usually. Some of the other areas covered are CCRM, ITSM Advanced, Cloud.
The third and final day of the EMEA Customer Forum was all about the HP Project and Portfolio Management solution. Is PPM part of your sales portfolio?
An excellent opportunity to bring customers and show them all the possibilities a software solution can do for their businesses!
You’d think this would be an easy question to answer and in ‘theory’ it is … However, does one really know the value marketing brings to the business when there are so many influencing factors? For instance, how do you value perception either of your partners or customers? I think this is difficult. Yes, there are some basic marketing measurements you can apply and conduct regular surveys but in today’s market with the new science of social media, is measurement somewhat out of our hands, and even control? Ok, let’s bring this discussion down a level. Leads, leads and more leads resulting in marketing influenced pipeline (MIP) and marketing influenced revenue (MIR) – that’s my core measurement. Placements, responses, downloads, event attendance, feedback, etc, etc all demonstrate the value that marketing brings however with mainly flat or decreasing marketing budgets, and on the flip side the power of new media where you can do more for less, I really question how we can truly measure marketing’s success.
Also, in my experience of channel marketing across EMEA, it’s very difficult to get a true picture of what campaigns are implemented, by whom and when. An example, marketing delivers a campaign kit for Applications Quality; HP Inside Sales conducts a call-out, several country marketing teams host events, there’s a white paper download – all very measureable. In parallel the Partner Account Managers work with our partner community and my team communicate to partners monthly to promote the resources available to them, so without putting barriers in place to make the content more restricted, in months to come, how do you accurately keep a track of the marketing messages that are getting out there? Of course, if any of the collection of Value Path campaign kits are leveraged, this is good, right? However, the question is on measuring marketing’s success and I would love to know if anyone has really got the formula?
I hope to see many partners at the local Business Perspectives event this May and June, I would welcome taking this debate with you!
