New Applications Software Releases for Agility and DevOps

On June 5th, 2012, HP software is raising the bar on what it means to deliver application agility to enterprises world-wide.

Today, we are launching HP ITPS Applications software version 11.5.  These updated releases are designed to significantly increase collaboration, automation and the delivery of quality between development, testing, and operations teams, all aimed at delivering applications faster and furthering adoption of DevOps,  to enable our customers to grow business agility with a focus on innovation.  This 11.5 set of releases focuses on HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), HP Performance Center (PC) , HP LoadRunner and HP Sprinter, as well as the new HP lab management automation feature which is supported in both HP ALM 11.5 and HP PC 11.5.

These solutions will be generally available on June 30th, 2012

A few of the highlights customers can expect from these new releases include:

  1. Automated scheduling and deployment of development and test lab resources via lab management automation (supported in both HP ALM and HP PC): With lab management automation, customers adopt DevOps faster in a hybrid cloud environment and reduce the time involved in set-up and tear down.
  2. Ability to continuously bring in and use real-world data from production environments to drive continuous application performance delivery testing scenarios – including import of data from HP Real User Monitoring as well as third party tools directly into HP Performance Center 11.5.
  3. HP LoadRunner 11.5–modernizes our flagship LoadRunner load testing solution for ease of use and support of high demand environments such as HTML 5 and IE 9.
  4. HP Sprinter 11.5 continues to revolutionize manual testing with additions to speed and simplify the tester’s experience with test authoring support and scanners for error prone activities.
  5. HP ALM 11.5 ties it all together with unparalleled traceability now enhanced with greatly simplified business view reporting and enhanced collaboration with the integration of HP Enterprise Collaboration.
