Executive Scorecard, Executive Insight

In talking to customers and partners about the IT Performance Suite I often get asked to highlight the differences between the IT Executive Scorecard dashboards and solution level reporting tools. The quick answer is “Executive Insight”.  So what does that mean?

Traditional measurement of IT is by functional tower using reports that provide a very detailed operational level view but without actionable business level insight.  The typical C-level executive lacks the time, the interest and the need to see this level of detail. In contrast, the HP IT Executive Scorecard offers a single pane of glass view that pulls information and analysis together to give IT leaders broad and deep insight into IT performance using metrics that directly relate to business level goals and objectives.  The view is customizable, based on personas and displays the “current state” enabling proactive management, rather than the end of the quarter panic often seen with scheduled reporting.  Unlike standard reporting structures, the IT Executive Scorecard creates a view that crosses the IT landscape, has historic perspective (for trending) and speaks to the issues important for business performance.

If you are going to HP Discover in Vienna , take time to attend a session on the IT Performance Suite so you can hear about the customer benefits directly from the experts at HP.  As a partner, the ability to deliver executive insight can move you up the sales value chain into C-level conversations at the client organization.   More information on the IT Performance Suite including the Executive scorecard can be found on the HP website and at Partner Central on our IT Performance Suite page.
