HP SOFTWARE FIELD EXCELLENCE recently held a combined EMEA Partner University/New Hire Onboarding training event at the Corinthia Hotel in Budapest. Based on the strong partner attendance, the positive feedback received, and the noticeable energy felt by all who attended, this joint EMEA training event, the first of its kind for HP Software, was by all measures a constructive and qualified success.
The event, held from September 17th to the 20th, was attended by 127 software partners, 7 HP Software new hires, and 2 HP Software partner new hires. The feedback from the partner attendees included –
- 93.7 % said they were “Very Satisfied/Satisfied” with the overall event.
- 97.3 % were “Very Satisfied/Satisfied” with the location (with 70% saying they were “very satisfied”).
- 100 % stated that they would recommend a future HP Software Solution enablement training to their colleagues.
In addition to the partner and attendee feedback, which was universally excellent, several of the instructors stated that they couldn’t remember “a better run enablement activity,” and that “the support staff was TERRIFIC.”

HP Software EMEA Partner Universities (owned by Field Excellence) are a series of instructor-led technical and sales trainings on our HP Software products, especially designed for our EMEA HP Software Partners. The events provide our partners with a productive atmosphere to gather, learn, and improve their effectiveness as sales, pre-sales and services delivery consultants. The Budapest event was the third EMEA Partner University held in FY12. It is a growing program that, in total, successfully enabled more than 375 EMEA partners over the past fiscal year.
The HP Software Sales Onboarding program, also driven by Field Excellence, provides comprehensive instructional workshops all over the world that build a solid foundation for our Software Sales new hires and give them the initial instruction, tools and confidence they need to be more successful FASTER.
