Re: FAQ(16): Using HTTP protocol in SDM

SDM uses the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) by default.  This is the ideal protocol to access our server at URL ftp.hp.com.  However, if you are having network problems or if your proxy blocks all FTP access or does not allow passive FTP access, you may want to try and see if switching SDM to use the HTTP protocol works for your environment.

To run SDM with HTTP protocol, please start SDM with the following command line switch: /FORCEHTTP.

Please use plain text.
