To force a catalog download, please delete the following files:
and the directory named
from the appropriate folder listed below, according to your operating system
- Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Vista
"C:\ProgramData\HP\HP SoftPaq Download Manager\"
- Windows XP
"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\HP\HP SoftPaq Download Manager\"
NOTE: The folder names are provided in English and may vary according to the language of your OS. Please account for language differences.
NOTE: Any other files and subdirectories stored at the above directories are downloaded SoftPaqs for Personal and Update modes and other SDM settings. If you'd like to take SDM to a state just after the initial installation, just delete the directory and all files under it.
