Just downloaded Sitescope Freemium 11.22 - all is working well except when I try to enter details of my mail server to send out alerts the window pops up but won't let me enter any details .. the two check boxes work but nothing else.
Same deal with the New Email Recipient - the fields don't allow entry of text.
Is this a known bug ? Is there a way of working around this by altering any config files manually.

I would suggest to patch to 11.23 first, if you can:
Please add a screenshot of what you are seeing, and if possible the ERROR.LOG

I am also having this problem. The suggested solution appears to require a passport account with an associated contract in order to download the 11.23 patch. What can users of the Freemium version do in order to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.
