SiteScope Android Application: Connection Failure

Can anyone provide some guidance on "why" I would not be able to connect to our running instance of SiteScope via the Android application?  I can run the site over http and/or https without issue.  I can connect to the instance without issue.  Does the Android application log the reason for failure (can't connect, bad host, bad uname/pword, etc...)?  Does SiteScope log connection failures somewhere?  We are in the process of evaluating SiteScope so we are using the freemium version, is Android connectivity supported when using the freemium license?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's your SiS version? Also, are you able to hit the instance when using Android's browser (http://<sis>:8080)? That is a good test for the port even if Applet GUI doesn't load.

Hi,

 

In that version is not possible use the mobile applications because freemium SiS doesn't have available API module.

I am able to hit the site via http:// using all three installed browsers (default, chrome and FF).
