Time format issue in while exporting incident data.

Hi Experts,

we have been facing some weird issue. We are exporting data from incident to excel sheet for reporting. Like last 30 days incidents.

In the excel sheet while exporting data the time format from 1 to 12th is coming in one format and 13th to 30th is coming in one format. Please find below open time and resolve time example.

Please help in find out what could be wrong.

When I check each record individually it showing same for 12th and 13th date.

13/06/2012 00:23:17 13/06/2012 00:37:39 13/06/2012 00:14:35 13/06/2012 00:31:45 12/6/2012 23:37 12/6/2012 23:51 12/6/2012 23:37 12/6/2012 23:50 12/6/2012 23:37 12/6/2012 23:50

Hi,

Is it also different in qbe format before export

There might be some issue in excel too( i faced once issue that excel is having records in two format) so try to restart you SM client along with close all the open copy of excel. Also try to export in text file and check whether error is same in both.

Re: Time format issue in while exporting incident data.

The dates exported from SM to Excel are in dd/mm/yyyy format, but Excel is expecting it them to be in mm/dd/yyyy format. This is the reason the 1-12 dates appear different from the 13-3x dates.

Re: Time format issue in while exporting incident data.

Hi m,

I am also facing the same problem while exporting data to excel file. 1-12 dates appear different from the 13-3x dates format.

I want to make all dates in single format. Please let me know it is possible or some work around to resolve this.

Re: Time format issue in while exporting incident data.

Hi,

Please try following steps on your workstation from where your opening excel sheet:
goto Control Panel->Regional and Language.
The short date field should match Service Manager's application date settings.

Thanks,
Darshana
