Is it also different in qbe format before export
There might be some issue in excel too( i faced once issue that excel is having records in two format) so try to restart you SM client along with close all the open copy of excel.Also try to export in text file and check whether error is same in both.
Assign Kudo, if found post useful and mark it accepted if solves the issue.

The dates exported from SM to Excel are in dd/mm/yyyy format, but Excel is expecting it them to be in mm/dd/yyyy format. This is the reason the 1-12 dates appear different from the 13-3x dates.

I am also facing the same problem while exporting data to excel file. 1-12 dates appear different from the 13-3x dates format.
I want to make all dates in single format. Please let me know it is possible or some work around to resolve this.

Please try following steps on your workstation from where your opening excel sheet:
goto Control Panel->Regional and Language.
The short date field should match Service Manager's application date settings.
