Survey management

Dear experts,

Need clarification for 'Survey Management' function and survey in 'System Administration --> survey --> Administration/Configuration.

What are the differences, function and how to set it up?

There are existing threads on this.

The Survey functionality does not provide an interface/module to allow end users to complete surveys. Instead, it allows you to define multiple survey generation records that can either:
1. Generate a survey in the MarketTools survey product (licensed separately) or
2. Generate a URL and notification to prompt a user to complete a survey in an external web survey tool (e.g. Survey monkey).

The relationship of them is similar to "Change Management" and "Change Profile".


For configuration, please find the chapter in SM online help "System Administration > Integrations > Survey Integration".
