Send Attachment Event Out throuth Connect IT

Hello.

We have a event out "emailSM" for send email html throuth Connect IT

Now we need add attachment in this event. I add this code on scdb9.cfg and now attachments fields appear in event "emailSM" of connectIT and mapping files.

My problem is that the files attachment don't sending in the emails.

Someone has the code for use in scdb9.cfg ONLY NEED FOR INTERACTIONS

{ STRUCT emailSM
NODETYPE = EVENT

{ STRING incident.id
MANDATORY = 1
}

{ ARRAY attachments
CIRCULAR = ATTACHMENT_TEMPLATE_EVENT
NODETYPE = BLOB

// Not displayed for the output event pmu
MODEOUT = 0
BLOBTYPE = 5
BLOBFORMAT = SC

// Insert the attachment in the event
BLOBRECONCTYPE = EVENT
APP = eventin
}

{ ARRAY attachments_output_event
DISPLAYNAME = attachments
MODEIN = 0
CIRCULAR = ATTACHMENT_TEMPLATE_TABLE
NODETYPE = BLOB
BLOBTYPE = 5
BLOBFORMAT = SC
APP = incidents
PIFLINK = @{..incident.id}
}

{ ATTRIBUTE AllFields
EXCEPTION = number
}
}

Thanks a lot.

Miguel

Re: Send Attachment Event Out throuth Connect IT

If you are trying to push attachments from SM to exchange server, you would not be able to used eventout. you would have to used the blob function in your connect-it script to export the attachment. the modification to scdb9.cfg is only to for getting the attachments into SM for new registrations

Re: Send Attachment Event Out throuth Connect IT

Just had the same requirement but for IM.

Here is a solution I found based some infos found on the forum, it works perfectly for me:

in the scdb.cfg or sc.scf or whatever (this additional file can be set up with as custom file in the SM connector) I added this info for a new Nodetype Event (not table):

//@FMRD***************************************************

{ STRUCT email
NODETYPE = EVENT
MODEOUT = 1

{ ARRAY attachments_output_event
DISPLAYNAME = attachments
MODEIN = 0
CIRCULAR = ATTACHMENT_TEMPLATE_TABLE
NODETYPE = BLOB
BLOBTYPE = 5
BLOBFORMAT = SC
APP = probsummary
PIFLINK = @{..EventFormatFields.evid}
}
{ ATTRIBUTE AllFields

}
{ ARRAY PifParameters
VIRTUAL = 1
MODEIN = 0
MODEOUT = 1
{ STRING Name
VIRTUAL = 1
}
{ STRING Value
ParameterValue = 1
VIRTUAL = 1
}
}
}

//********************************************************

Note: it's based on the IM number stored in the "evid" field of the eventout... so for SD, set the SD id in the evid field and change the "attachment reference":

{ ARRAY attachments_output_event
DISPLAYNAME = attachments
MODEIN = 0
CIRCULAR = ATTACHMENT_TEMPLATE_TABLE
NODETYPE = BLOB
BLOBTYPE = 5
BLOBFORMAT = SC
APP = incidents
PIFLINK = @{..EventFormatFields.evid}
}

Then just map the attachments, it should work.
