[Need Help] Calling third party webservices services using https

Hi Experts,

I am using HP SM as a client to connect to a third party application. I have written a JavaScript to do this. And inside that JavaScript I used doSOAPRequest() function. Everything works fine if the URL is "http", but If I try the same thing with "HTTPS" then it gives me a list of java exceptions.

I understand from the Internet that these exceptions are related to https and the certificates in Java. I tried to import the .cer files from Internet explorer and used keytool to import the same but the error is persistent

The SM Server is installed in a Linux machine (RHEL 6.2)

It would be of great help if some can explain the procedure in detail.

Hello,

I don't know the SM version you have but SM WebServices Best Practices guide gives useful information about your issue. I have attached the SM9.2 version.
