Hi Alex

Do you have any errors in the sm logs or can you attach the sm .log?

Thank you

Re: Many records in table "Schedule" with message "message processor record" and

the 'message processor record' is the name given to the background schedulers that process messages and notifications.

Check the Strings tab and the Booleans/Times tab, and there should be details as to what the notification is for.  If there is something on the Boolean/Times tab, there should be a record in the 'mail' table with the same date/timestamp.  In that case, that's the content of the notification being sent.

Re: Many records in table "Schedule" with message "message processor record" and

Have the message processor schedule records errored out?

What is your current release?

If the messages are related to alerts, in some releases there was a problem with SLA and alert related notifications which caused the message creation to abend and leave orphaned message processor records.

Re: Many records in table "Schedule" with message "message processor record" and

Hi ,

As John stated these are mostly due to error generated in processing of some scheduler record and to make it retry sm adds new record.
SM used to delete such type of recrods automatically, if these are still piling up then either deletion is not working or records are adding at faster rate then deletion.
You should check the scheduler records having status 'application running' and delete it if some junk type is there.

Same issue will lead to delay in process of scheduler due to large records in scheduler file and ultimately mails will not be processed and delivered.
