Is HP Service Manager 7.10 compatible with SQL Server 2008 R2?

[ Edited ]

we have put off upgrading Service Manager (we have 7.10.023) to the latest version and now they would like to upgrade SQL from 2003 to 2008 R2 and I need to find out if this version of Service Manager will work with this SQL or do we need to upgrade Service Manager?

thank you!

Only SQL Server 2005 is listed on the published support matrix for SM 7.10.

You'll need an HP Passport account to access the document.

As John said only sql2005 is listed for SM7.10 so it might work sql2008 but you will get the support from HP in case of issue.
