Incorporate Service Manager License

Hi Experts,

I am trying to incorporate the license for Service Manager 9.30. I got the .dat file and pdf on how to install license from Hp SM team. O.S- Windows Server 2008

However, the pdf states that a LicFile.txt has to be created under the location "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Hewlett-Packard\HPOvLIC \data"

Now the issue is I couldnot find the location "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Hewlett-Packard\HPOvLIC \data"

Please help,

Thanks and Best Regards,

Sanjeev

Re: Incorporate Service Manager License

Hi,

Search your system for LicFile.txt and replace old file with this.
Should be some where in installation directory.
ensure backup before any activity.

Re: Incorporate Service Manager License

FYI: the license file for SM was moved to the RUN directory at either 7.10 or 9.20. The  "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Hewlett-Packard\HPOvLIC \data" has not been used since that time.
