Implementing Single Sign On (SSO) in HPSM-9.3

Hello Techies,

I need to implement SSO in my HPSM-9.3 which is already integrated with LDAP.

I have few questions:

1> Does it need SSL enable?

2> Needs a service account?

3> To Which Layer we should enable SSO - IIS or Tomcat. (we have IIS layer above Tomcat)

Thanks in advance.

Re: Implementing Single Sign On (SSO) in HPSM-9.3

Hi,

To answer on your first two questions I am sending you the Single Sign-On Authentication guide attached.

Regarding question 3:

It depends on how far you want to go and what clients are included

So I guess you may indeed also need to include it on ISS level but it depends.

Hi Dimitar,
Thanks for your suggestion. So SSO needs SSL ...

When I did this I had to enable SSL. I don't think you'll need a service account; I didn't. Enabling SSO means integrating IIS and Tomcat, so you'll be making modifications to both.
