Error changing password

Hi,

I have a problem where the user would not be able to change their password when expired.

After keying in the new password, the user clicks on the agree button. An empty pop up message will appear and the page redirects user to key in new password again. Anyone facing similar issue ?

Thanks.

Re: Error changing password

Hi tomkool,

Yes, i am integrating SM with LDAP. There are no error message, only an empty error message pop up. I think this is because that particular user is authenticated by LDAP but has "expired password" checked.

Re: Error changing password

This is a known defect and is fixed in QCCR1E71139 "When SM uses LDAP as authentication data source, the user is still forced to change the password if the user is expired in the local DB".

The fix is released in SM9.30P4HF2, SM9.30P5, SM9.31.
