Hi, on finding the license details of HPSM, we get details like below:
Named <licensed> Floating <licensed>
0 <27> 27<66>
I understand the concept between named and floating licenses. But not understanding what is ouside angle bracket value and what is inside value.

Angular bracket means total license quantity and value outside is currently in use.
But in second row you have more in use than that of licensed, this is not possible. What is module name for this.
Assign Kudo, if found post useful and mark it accepted if solves the issue.

In the examples, in the first line you own named licenses but haven't assigned them to any operators.
For the second line, it looks like you've granted add/update/approval capablity to far more users than you've licensed for that module (10 licenses, but 33 active logins consuming a license).

Sorry to jump on the thread, but can anyone explain why we reguarly have more users using incident management then we do logged in, eg this is our current licreport:
Login License 62( 63) 11( 41)
Incident Management(HelpDesk) 62( 63) 31( 41)

Thanks John, it quite cleared the doubt. But, if the floating licenses are 20; how can more than 20 active logins present in the system without getting any license error?
