Re: Critical Fill button

Hi,

check you sm.log.
This should not be case and must be limited to particular link fields which are querying heavy queries.

Re: Critical Fill button

Is this in web client only, or both - web and eclipse?

Re: Critical Fill button

Hi,

Check what are the recent changes you have made in system.
also enable
RTM:3
debugdbquery:999

in sm.ini and check where it is stucking

or enable trace on in rad debugger and check at which RAD it is delayed.

Re: Critical Fill button

Hi Experts

The issue is resolved , the problem was with the DB. Since it was an oracle DB they had restricted the tablespace.

Once i increased the space SM was accessable

Re: Critical Fill button

Hi Experts ..,

The issue has happen again ,, dont no exactly wat is causing it yesterday when the table space was increased users were able to open and update exisitng ticket and we thought issue was resolved. But from today morning again the same issue and its happenin for only 2 company out of 6. No changes were made in HPSM.

If we click on search incident and try to search ticket of those 2 companies the SM hungs and it will be loading .

ALso for create new incidents if try to select any value from fill button then also SM hungs but for only 2 companies .

also simply if i open incidents and try to click on submit button then also SM hungs .

Please help me experts its very critical.

Re: Critical Fill button

Hi Experts..,

Also i see there is a large number in syslog around 65 lakhs , msglog 40 lakhs and event in 58 lakhs

The types of integrations currently configured in HPSM are Webservice integration for 4 accounts, database integration for 1 account and Flat file integration for another. Can we proceed and delete these eventin logs, syslog and msglogs? Would this impact the production setup and cause any adverse effects?

Regards

Praveen

Re: Critical Fill button

Hi,

These table will not affect you fill functionality.
you must enable the debug parameter and see what is the issue.
It might be possible that table you are querying in fill is heavy and returning lots f records.

You should remove msglog record from DB end (as it would be faster) and also truncate the sylog table if not required for login history of operators.

Re: Critical Fill button

Hi Experts ..,

As of now the issue is resolved but its kept under observation.

We came to know the issue was due to tzfile where in the daylight savings were updated till 2013 , so once we updated the tzfile everything seems to be working .
