Im trying to run LDAP and SM integration.
Sometimes SM connector opens fine, but sometimes it throws exception (see attached screen-shot)
I suspect it has something to do with another issue I have regarding general connection problems of SM:
sometimes it takes a long time to connect (50 seconds) - web and windows client (Im running a case with HP)
so, maybe that's why SM connector can not open? Cuz it's trying to connect the sm but waiting short time?
Is there a way to enlarge the interval of waiting for connection time to establish??

It says "session no longer valid", but additional information of form factor is missing in attached image.
Can you please copy entire line and paste it in your reply.
Also get us sm.cfg and sm.ini files from SM server.
Please note Connect IT integration to SM works with web-services, so you might need to open another SM port and connect to that port from Connect IT server.

I do not think additional modifications are required and the configuration should be the same.
One is to integrate Connect IT and SM using event services and other is to integrate Connect IT and SM using web-services.
But can you please tell us what are you trying to update from LDAP to SM using Connect IT..

I scheduled a process that imports contacts from LDAP every 24 hours.
Is it really matters what method is chosen? Like I said, is sometimes does work. Question is, is it has something to do with my connectivity issue IM running with Hp's support?
