Re: An Error Message coming in Change Review Phase

Hi Avi,

It is not error but some warning message only and seems that it is coming while updated by background process 'problem'.
Do not see any such behavior in SM7, might be new in SM9.3
did you tailored system this way ?

Re: An Error Message coming in Change Review Phase

Hi,

If getting error only in this phase then possible that you are some tailoring which is updating CR while entering in this phase.
So check this phase definition and any alert implemented on this phase. There should be some updation statement.

Check your notification defintion and make sure that you have not accidentally select the Message Type: msg instead of email.

It looks like you have an email notificaiton configured as a msg when entering the Review phase.

ALSO, the message description of "cm3r update notice" looks like it may be a legacy change messages (a long time ago, before the notification engine even existed, the change module had it's own messaging ).

Check the Change Review Phase phase definition and check the control "Messages". It should be set to false. The setting is only there so that a legacy system using the legacy cmmessages can sill use those after an upgrade.

Re: An Error Message coming in Change Review Phase

Hello John,

Thank you so much for your reply.

Yes, for change Review phase definition, I have "cm3rcatphase" table. Message was set to true. I changed it to false.

And now the warning message is not coming.

Thanks everyone for your effort.

Regards,

Avi
