HP SM 9.30. HP KM Search Engine configuration problem. SOAP: A signal 11 was raised in native code.

Need help for configuring Search Engine. I installed HP SM 9.30, installed KM Search Engine only with Tomcat server. Add variables, and line in sm.ini, install service HP KM Search Engine master. If I start to configure in Knowledge management > Configuration > Configure search servers and click verify server, then write message (SOAP: A signal 11 was raised in native code. Client terminated. Error: Win32 Exception:0xC0000005 (instruction 0x6D9A9E9D while reading address 0x00000008)). At the bottom attached a sm.log.



The signal 11 sounds like unexpected error.

I can see this in your log file.




Not sure whether it's truncated or as it is in your sm.ini.

Check and ensure your sm.ini matches this:

If you installed the KM Search engine on the same machine with the SM web tier, did you change the default port for the KM apache to somehthing other than 8080?

Also, SM appears to not be detecting the Serach engine config. When you configured the Master search engine, did you use the server name? (It won't work correctly if localhost is used).
