Time Zone

I am using Crystal Reports against Service Desk for metric reporting. Timestamps in the database are stored in GMT time. My view in HPOVSD is set up for Central Time. Thus, the data in crystal always shows up in GMT time when I want it to show up in Centra Time. Is there something I can do to a database view that will not only take the time zone into account but also dayling savings? For example, I can do the following to a view...but I have to change it when daylight savings goes into account.

V_SERVICE_CALL.ACTUALFINISH + CAST(- 6.0 AS DECIMAL) / 24 AS created,

Re: Time Zone

Mary Lee,

this is a common problem when trying to report from sd database.

See also http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=594917 .

Basically changing the view everytime the daylight saving occurs is right as well. I have made an exact description in this topic:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=48724 (where you can read service desk 4.0 as database views.
