Hi Kerry, this looks like a great workshop.  Is this comparable to the SOC Primer workshop that the HP SIOC team offers?

I'm looking for opportunities at HP Protect to learn more about the 14 processes and 36 procedures that help build a mature Security Operations Center.  Will this workshop just touch on them briefly, like in the State of Operations whitepaper?  Or does it get more in-depth?

Thanks in advance!

This workshop at HP Protect will be a condensed version of our SOC Primer workshop that we offer at customer sites throughout the year. The great thing about this version is you will be in class with others from security organizations that you can share stories with the benefit of learning from each other.

The workshop will go into the processes and procedures in more depth than the State of Security Operations whitepaper. It will cover everything from gaining organization support and defining the mission to staffing schedules and shift turn-over procedures. It is definitely a lot of great information packed into a day and a half.
