HP TippingPoint ahead of the pack in MS Advisories for 2014

HP researches and tracks vulnerabilities and correlates these with the publicly available Microsoft bulletins to show the differentiation HP TippingPoint DVlabs has over other vendors claiming to provide ‘zeroday’ protection.

Each week, the HP TippingPoint DVLabs team develops new vulnerability filters to address network weaknesses and patch the holes with the Digital Vaccine package. Vaccines are created not only to address specific exploits, but also potential attack permutations, protecting customers from Zero Day threats.

Since the beginning of 2014, HP TippingPoint has communicated 65 Microsoft Security Advisories and since 2006, a grand total of 310!  We’re proud to continue to show why TippingPoint’s security intelligence expertise is recognized worldwide.  The figures in the graphic show the lead TippingPoint has over its competition. Researching the vulnerability allows us to provide our customers with a patch, before the vendor is able to deploy their software update, closing the vulnerability exposure window and proactively protecting our customers.

The speed with which we deliver new filters makes this a powerful weapon in the patch race against attackers. HP TippingPoint understands that every second matters when it comes to your network security.
