Get involved with HP Mobile Pwn2Own

Can you illustrate your vulnerability research and exploit techniques in order to successfully compromise popular mobile devices? If so, it’s your chance to win some big bucks!

 

The event? Mobile Pwn2Own

 

The location? Tokyo, Japan at the PacSec conference

 

The dates? Nov 13-14, 2013

 

The reward? $300,000 (USD) in cash and prizes, plus ultimate bragging rights!

 

So how do you get involved? Show us your successful exploits for mobile devices and enter to win at this year’s Mobile Pwn2Own competition.

 

Available attack vectors:

  • Short distance/physical access, either:
    • Bluetooth, or
    • Wi-Fi, or
    • Universal Serial Bus (USB), or
    • Near Field Communication (NFC)
    • Mobile web browser
    • Mobile application/operating system
    • Messaging services, either:
      • Short Message Service (SMS)
      • Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS)
      • Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS)
      • Baseband
