Capture the Flag at Black Hat USA and win some seriously cool stuff

IMG_2948.JPGCan you hack it? HP Enterprise Security Products wants to find out in our "Capture the Flag" hacking contest at Black Hat USA. We’re giving away some seriously cool prizes like Ironkey secure storage flash drives, Raspberry PIs, and quadcoptors. You know you want a quadcoptor.

This is an on-site challenge that will take place at the HP booth (#911) at Black Hat USA. There are ten graduated challenges where each is increasingly more difficult to solve than the last. Final scores will be determined by the highest of the 10 tiers achieved in the shortest time possible. We’re going to have several systems up and running so multiple people can play at any given time.

What’s also cool – and which honestly might appeal to some of you more than the prizes (not counting the quadcoptors) – is the Capture the Flag leaderboard we’ll keep constantly updated throughout the event. Because what fun is being better at something than your friends and industry cohorts and not having it publically displayed?

In all seriousness, this is a very cool challenge designed by some of our best and brightest. It’s called ‘challenge’ for a reason.  So come join us and show us what you got! And stay tuned for more information about HP ESP’s presence at Black Hat USA!
