Get connected with HP Live Network, your performance testing community

Connect, learn and share the new performance testing community created in the HP Live Network (HPLN) platform.  This new community, called “HP LoadRunner and HP Performance Center”, brings you the opportunity to connect with other organizations, partners and peers. You’ll be able to share your ideas, scripts, process and best practices while learning from others.

What is HP Live Network?

HPLN lets you browse, review and download free content from HP, trusted HP partners, and other customers.  You can learn about the latest content offerings and best practices, contribute your own user-created content, and discuss and influence upcoming content offerings from HP and others.  You can also schedule attended or unattended content updates using the HPLN Connector from inside the many HP products which support direct integration with HPLN, which includes LoadRunner and Performance Center.  Check out the HPLN Data Sheet for more information.

How does LoadRunner integrate with HP Live Network?

A new feature of the recently released LoadRunner 11.52 lets you access the contents of HP Live Network directly from VuGen.

Where can I find best practices and community content?

A number of LoadRunner and Performance Center Best Practice documents used to be in the HP Application Lifecycle Management community.  You can now find these in the Resources page of the new community.

The community content for LoadRunner and Performance Center has also been moved from the ALM community to the Downloads page of the new community (you’ll need an HP Passport with a valid SAID to access this content).

I need to make testing easier for the performance test team on my current project. Does anyone know of a DFE Hessian solution for LoadRunner 11.52

Hi pilsbury,

I suggest you post your question to one of the LoadRunner forums, such as the LoadRunner Support Forum, where more people might be able to answer it.

I am new (today) to the HP Performance Center community; I am sure that I will be a frequent

participant in this live network for performance testing; my question is:

I am interested in attaining some kind of certification for one, or all of these testing programs:

Loadrunner, Quality Center, Quick test pro;

Can HP itself provide access to such a certification, or do you know of other groups that may have

such a certification program?

Thank you.

Welcome to the community, JeffreyDay!  I suggest you take a look at the HP Software Education Services site, which offers both training and certification in the products you mentioned, among many others.

You might also want to visit the HP ExpertOne Certification Blog to get news and updates about the various certification programs.
