Are you leveraging TruClient Technology to fasten your performance testing?

How much do you know about the HP TruClient technology? Have you been leveraging TruClient for your performance testing lately?

In this blog, I would like have a conversation with you about HP TruClient technology. If you can answer the questions above would be good for me to learn more about you as well and how you are leveraging this technology.

I understand that the application environments are becoming more and more complex as per conversations with customers and analysts researchers – see the “Market Overview: Application Performance Management, Q4 2011” report by Forrester.

Innovation on applications is critical and with that the toolkits to develop are changing rapidly. The way that Rich Internet applications (RIA) work and behave make even more critical to execute a reliable performance testing. On top of that, Agile complicates the time and results from performance testing. Would agree with me?

By now I highlighted some of the challenges in executing the performance testing for web applications, but I would like to ask you: what are your challenges?

Many customers that I have spoken lately are still in the path to move to the new development toolkits. How about your company? Are you prepared to test performance within all these complexity?

With this shift in development tools, it is important to have a faster technology that can keep up with modernization.

The TruClient technology was launched approximately a year ago, that is embedded to HP LoadRunner and HP Performance Center, with the objective to accelerate the performance testing time.  TruClient is an innovative, browser-based virtual user generator (VUGen) that supports simple Web as well as modern JavaScript-based applications. The scripting engine is embedded within the browser, and behaves like a true browser client. It utilizes a unique, patented approach to object recognition, which makes it an extremely flexible and extensible solution for testing Web 2.0 applications.

With HP LoadRunner 11.50 we introduce the TruClient for Internet Explorer and added many enhancements in the TruClient for Firefox.

TruClient has been used by hundreds of customers now and I have been getting some feedback. Here are some of the feedbacks. Would you like to share your experience with me?

I will finalize leaving you with some links that will be beneficial to you to learn more about TruClient Technology:

Take some time to blog back to me!

I tried this True Client. The scripting is very easy and fast. But this doesn't scale For smaller tests with less users below 25 it is might be helpful.
