The Discover Event Before HP Discover

HP Discover doesn’t officially start until Monday afternoon but did you know there are over 80 people attending HP ExpertOne pre-event training? Conference attendees arrived last week in anticipation of two and a half days of technical, hands-on training. HP ExpertOne training delivery partners are holding classes in networking, storage and enterprise solutions.

These hands-on lab courses provide students with the skills and competencies to take back to their organizations with a high level of understanding on how to deploy and manage HP Networking solutions as well as 3Par storage solutions. As you can see from the list below, HP Cloud, HP 3Par and HP Networking are filling the minds of conference attendees.

- Designing and Implementing HP Cloud Solutions using 3PAR, Rev. 11.21 – Course #00299816

- Accelerated HP A & E-Series Networking Technologies, Rev. 11.31 – Course #00339356

- Accelerated HP A & E-Series Networking Technologies, Rev. 11.31 – Course #00339356

- Technical Introduction to the HP Enterprise Portfolio, Rev. 11.41

After completing their course, each student will visit the onsite Pearson VUE testing facility where they can take the corresponding exam free of charge. Yes, every year HP ExpertOne offers free exams at HP Discover! Any conference attendee can register for up to 5 HP0 proctored exams. If you add that up, it's a savings of $875 US.

Some of these students are new to the program and this may very well be the first HP ExpertOne class and exam they will take. The added value of attending is, potentially, they leave on Friday morning with an HP ExpertOne certification. It's an excellent opportunity because we all know getting time out of the office to attend face-to-face training can be a challenge. That is why we offer pre-event training on the weekend before HP Discover.

I attended pre-event training last year and it was not only worth the time, energy and effort but I formed long lasting friendships with a lot of my fellow classmates.  This year’s attendees are no different.  The ExpertOne team onsite this weekend have been repeatedly thanked for providing this wonderful opportunity to spend time with others in a similar job role and to brainstorm trade experiences and build new connections.
