Problem with printing

Hi,

I have recently downloaded this program and am a first time user.

We have a Designjet 5000PS connected via network and I have added the printer using the 'Add New Printer' and it has been found.

I can add a file (.pdf) and it previews on the screen and when I click on print it goes to "retrieving printer configuration' and then on to printing file in the 'Render Progress' window.  It is at this point that it seems to get stuck.

What am I doing wrong!?

Are you able to print a test page and/or ping the plotter?

If so I would suspect a problem with the software that you are using.
