BL 465 G7 / C3000 - Windows 2003 Standard - install issues BSOD

Installing windows 2003 std sp1 on a bl 465 g7 and during setup/install of windows I got  a BSOD  (see pic)

I know that there is a critical update for storage controller HPCISSS2.sys but I need to install  recovery console for windows 2003 sp1 then sp2. During install of sp2 I had a BSOD!!!

I have also had windows EMS freeze and also multiple BSOD and then windows installs finally...

However this is a major waste of time of having to rebuild ...there must be a simple explaination...

I had reset the blade to factory default and reinstalled with different results...freezing, BSOD...

Firmware 9.30, SmartStart 8.70 x86- installing via ILO in blade chassis.

Any suggestions...

Slipstream the latest drivers and SP into a single installer and use that.

Or turn off EMS in BIOS and it works.
