What’s new in HP LiveVault 7.75?

There are a bunch of new and exciting enhancements from 7.75, including:

  1. Refreshed platform support - from the latest Windows OS, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, to refreshed Linux.
  2. Enhanced reporting - adding an advanced Server Status Report, and the Default report now uses a XLS format instead of, providing more flexibility.
  3. Improved the already-impressive restores performance -  It now has faster restore time (which greatly improves RTOs) and even higher availability on the backend!
  4. Even better integration between LiveVault and HP StoreEasy – we now provide a new agent download link to support HP StoreEasy backup & recovery.

When the chips are down, we’ve got your back

Clouds are like snowflakes, no two are alike.  HP LiveVault performs over 2.3 Million backups every single day and has over 1,000 PB (that’s 1 Exa-Byte) of recoverable data under management.

LiveVault provides unparalleled security in the cloud.  Data is encrypted at all times and stored securely in our world wide data centers that are PCI, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliant.  The LiveVault cloud backup service includes two fully mirrored, geographically separate systems to provide complete data and system redundancy. With 2 copies in the cloud, you always have a backup for your backup. There is even the option of an on-site cache appliance to enable a hybrid-cloud implementation and faster local restores.

With the proven record and extensive experience of operating cloud backup services, and managing customer information for over 16 years, the sky is the limit.

For Remote and branch offices, and Small and Medium Businesses, where dedicated staff is either limited or non-existent –  protecting data in the cloud allows organizations to respond quickly to changing business needs, while reducing costs and eliminating the burden of managing complex (and error prone) backup processes.

With data safely stored in a professionally-managed cloud, and predictable cost that makes your budgeting simpler, you can focus on more strategic projects for your company.
