(tz-1310) Question on Capacity bar in Planning Member Panel of Sprint Backlog

[ Edited ]

(tz-1310) In the Planning:Members panel of the Sprint Backlog page there are colored horizontal bars.

1.  We have noticed that there used to be a white portion of these bars which represented unassigned hours. What happened to this?

2.  The portion of the bar that is colored blue seems to  represent the portion of the member's total capacity that has not had any hours invested yet.  Is this correct?

Hi Lou,

Per your questions:

1. The blue represents the unassigned hours today.

2. Indeed this is the case.

Koby.

Re: (tz-1310) Question on Capacity bar in Planning Member Panel of Sprint Backlog

Hi Koby,

Sorry. Not sure I understand.

The answer to #1 says that the Blue bar is  = current to unassigned hours.

But the answer to #2 says that Blue  bar is  =  portion of total capacity with no work done

These are 2 different values.

Also, question #1 was asking what happened to the white bar?

Re: (tz-1310) Question on Capacity bar in Planning Member Panel of Sprint Backlog

Hi Lou,

The blue color in the progress bar represents the Available Capacity.

It does not represent the portion of total capacity with no work done.

Hope it's clearer now.

Koby
