What is represented by the numbers at the top of columns of taskboard

The top of the columns on the Task board page show a number of days. What is this number supposed to represent? (It looks like the number of hours of work left to do divided by the default number of hours per day. But this doesn't seem useful)

Please use plain text.

Re: What is represented by the numbers at the top of columns of taskboard

Hi Lous,

You're correct, this number represents the time left for all tasks of the same state (same column).

"Day" definition can be set at the configuration section under "Project settings", the default is 6 hours.

Why do you think this is not useful? We'll be happy to hear a different point of view on how to represent the remaining working time in the Task board.

Cheers,

Evyatar Dayan,

Re: What is represented by the numbers at the top of columns of taskboard

Thanks for your response. My problem is that the hours per day is based on a default setting in the Configuration. But in general, each user's daily capacity will be different than the Configuration default. But then the problem is that each user's daily capacity may not be the same as each other user. So one answer is to use some sort of average of users' daily capacity. Another answer might be to just show total hours left.  Or another answer might be based on the following question:

What is the information telling us and how should it be used?
