How to account for a team members vacation in a Sprint?

What's the best way to account for a team members vacation in a Sprint?  Should we reduce the "work hours per day" for the individual team member in the Release Capacity Information when the Sprint starts to account for the vacation?  Or is there a better way?

Thanks,

Faye

Re: How to account for a team members vacation in a Sprint?

Hello Faye,

On the user buckets in the right side of the Sprint backlog there is a link to the Team member capacity for the Sprint you are viewing.

In the opened dialog you can set the numver of working days of the user in this specific sprint.

Does this answer your needs?

Thanks,

Ido

Yes, that helps.  Thanks.

Maybe I can also use this to account for Holidays in the Sprint by subtracting days from all team members.

I will add this issue as an FAQ in the product documentation.

Re: How to account for a team members vacation in a Sprint?

We had an issue here where a Team Member could not alter their own availability for the sprint.
The save option is blurred out and a message indicates only administrators can modify these values.
This makes it additional overhead for administrators to configure the sprint availability for each user per sprint.
Can we not allow Team Members the privileges of modifying their own availability per sprint?
